Kind words are like honey: sweet to the soul.

There are times when it’s hard to find kind words about ourselves or kind words about life.  Let me help you find those words.  Life often presents many hurts, challenges, traumas that can be hard to heal from on your own.  The good thing is, you don’t have to do it alone.  Let me help you.  Life often presents big feelings that can be hard to sit with or figure out on your own.  Let me sit with you.

My approach

I offer different types of therapy and techniques such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Play Therapy techniques, Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  In a safe and nurturing environment, we will work as a team implementing one or more of these therapy techniques during our work together.

My job is to be the calming and safe center while you build upon your strengths, learn to navigate big feelings, heal from past hurts and find your kind words.  As a clinical social worker and therapist, I have worked with many children, families, and adults with struggles ranging from depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting concerns, attachment concerns, social development concerns, relationship struggles, and anger management struggles.  My passion is helping children, adults, and families find their inner strengths, feel empowered by their unique characteristics, and believe kind words about themselves.
